3 WISE MONKEYS GRAPHIC ART

I really enjoy making graphic art, just because I think there are so many ways to make the art something really unique, and to resemble what it is you pictured. I really wanted to make a piece based on 'the 3 wise monkeys;, just because i think are are so many meaning to them which are relevant to most things in life. I have made 2 of the 3 so far. Once there all complete, I will probably put them into some cool revamped antique frames.

SPRAY PAINT PORTRAIT

So I created this piece just as a kind of experiment. I found this big piece of
wood board, that was slightly bigger than A1 size, so i just spray painted it
with black acrylic and began to scratch into it, using a table knife. The result,
a kind of sinister portrait, that I promise does not at all reflect my internal emotions.

TOP 5 YOUTUBERS FOR INSPIRATION

Recently I've found myself on youtube a lot just seeking some inspiration and a little escapism from the stresses in my life at the moment. These girls never fail to lift my spirits and provide me with some much needed positive energy. So below are a list of my top 5 youtubers (who you may not have heard of) to watch for a little inspo and to embrace the girl powaa

1. LAURA MILLER

Without a doubt Laura miller is my no.1 favourite youtuber; her vegan recipe videos are sooo chill and just great fun to watch. She started out making videos in collaboration with the better known channel 'Tastemade' as the host of their new series 'Raw Vegan Not Gross'. Along with vegan cooking she's been featured in videos where she collaborates with artists, and health fanatics.

2. SHAMELESS MAYA

This girl is the most energetic and positive person I think i've ever seen. Her bright outlook on life is enough to lighten anyones mood. She makes videos 'shamelessly' presenting her own life, both professional and personal. In only a few years she managed to grow her channel to 700,000 subscribers, as well as meeting royalty like Prince through showcasing her creativity and photography abilities.

3. FULLY RAW KRISTINA

A rawfoodist, Kristina is such a humble sweet girl, and her videos are great for anyone considering a vegan lifestyle. I often choose to watch her videos just because of the lovely bright colours and satisfyingly, good editing she uses. Despite the fact she runs 3 business she is still always so cheerful in her videos- certainly someone to look up to.

4. THE SORRY GIRLS

For creative inspiration The Sorry Girls are my go to youtubers. They have made countless videos creating simple, quality, affordable items, that can be found in trendy stores like Urban Outfitters. Even if your not planning on making anything, the precision and ability to be super neat and organised while making on camera, is pretty satisfying to watch.

5. (OBVS) JENNA MARBLES
I don't think this one really needs much explaining since, since Jenna is pretty well known, except to say she's hilarious.

You should definitely check these girls, if your planning on having a night in, they're videos are great fun to watch. I'd love it if you guys would comment below if you are also a fan of any of these lovely ladies.

ART INSTALLATION; Consumerism

I made this big paper installation based on the habits of society to leave a mass of waste in its path. My project was called Urban Decay, so I had great fun visiting lots of creepy abandoned houses, although to be honest I wouldn't recommend going alone.

GRAPHIC STENCILS; Anthropomorphism

I had this 'Anthropomorphism' project at college a few months ago, for which I created these graphic stencils. I was inspired by some of my favourite graffiti artists, to then make these into ceramic tiles, which I have to say didn't exactly go to plan, but they where great fun to make.

INK LIFE DRAWING

So this is an A1 ink/card collage piece I created a few months back as an experimental life drawing. I would step away from and then work back into this piece a few times over, just to get out of the habit of becoming too precious with my work- there's always room for improvement.
